Let’s be real, we could all use a little encouragement now and then, right? That’s why we’re so excited to continue spotlighting women who shine bright, even when the world gets noisy. These are the women who lead with heart, show up with authenticity (not because it’s trendy, but because it’s who they are), and blaze trails that inspire the next generation.

We invite you to take a quick pause and meet the extraordinary Lisa Duerre. She's a true champion for community, connection, and women-led businesses. In this feature, Lisa shares her insights on the power of showing up for others, what’s helped her push through roadblocks, and how lifting others up has fueled her own journey.

What does being part of the WO3 community mean to you? In what ways do you see this sisterhood of women-owned businesses fueling confidence, connection, and collective growth?

As a founder of a women-owned business RLD Group, being part of WO3 is a powerful reminder that I’m not building alone. This community fuels my confidence by showcasing what’s possible when women support and champion each other. The genuine connections here—rooted in co-creation and collaboration—make it easier to share ideas, ask for help, and celebrate wins together. Most importantly, WO3 is about collective growth. When women business owners unite, we amplify our impact—not just for ourselves, but for our teams and communities. That’s the true power of this sisterhood, and I’m honored to be part of it.

The WO3 movement thrives because of women who give back. What are a few specific ways you plan to support and grow this movement—whether through mentorship, collaboration, or other forms of leadership?

Collaboration with other women-owned businesses is something I approach with intention and heart. I regularly invite women founders to participate in our FIRM Leadership Labs at no cost, creating space for learning and connection. I’m committed to spotlighting women-owned businesses on my podcast, CTRL+ALT+DELETE with Lisa Duerre™, sharing their journeys and insights with a wider audience.

Mentoring is another way I give back—I frequently mentor and advise newly emerging women business leaders and founders, helping them navigate challenges and grow with confidence. On social media, I use my platform to celebrate WO3 members and promote the movement. For me, leadership is about making room at the table, opening doors, and building a community where we all rise together

Lifting as you climb is part of the WO3 spirit. Can you share a powerful moment where you helped elevate another woman in business or life?

A powerful example of lifting as I climb began when I invited Jackie Stavros and Cheri Torres—the authors of Conversations Worth Having—onto my podcast, CTRL+ALT+DELETE with Lisa Duerre™, to share their insights on how intentional conversations fuel engagement. That interview was truly life-changing, not just for me but for many listeners who reached out about its impact.

The connection didn’t stop there. Our collaboration grew, and as a result, we created a group of certified Conversations Worth Having facilitators at RLD Group. This has allowed us to bring these transformational practices to our clients and leadership programs on a much larger scale. It’s a testament to the ripple effect that happens when women support one another, create space for new voices, and build something greater together—benefiting individuals, organizations, and the broader business community.

We all hit roadblocks—what matters is how we rise. When you're feeling discouraged or burnt out, what personal rituals, mindset shifts, or sources of inspiration help you reset and keep going?

When I’m feeling discouraged or burnt out, I turn to a mix of personal rituals and intentional mindset shifts, and I remind myself that some days are easier than others. First, I make sure I’m taking care of the basics—getting enough sleep, nourishing my body, and staying hydrated. These fundamentals are non-negotiable for me, especially when stress is high. I practice “Pause, Notice, Choose,” giving myself permission to slow down, check in, and consciously decide my next step.

I often ground myself with my feet in the grass, use HeartMath techniques to reset my energy, or head to the pool. Being in the water helps me decompress and feel lighter in my body, which is especially important for my overall well-being. I also draw on insights from Conversations Worth Having (CWH). Instead of getting stuck in what’s not working, I ask myself generative questions like: “How might this be easy?” “What is at stake that I care deeply about?” and “What am I learning?” These questions help me reconnect to my purpose, open up new possibilities, and focus on what truly matters in the moment.

Ultimately, these practices allow me to lead with both heart and strategy, so I can show up for my team, my clients, my family, and myself—even when the path is challenging.

Now Here's A Fun One! What’s your guilty pleasure? Whether it’s an obsession with reality TV, midnight snacks, or an overflowing candle collection—we want to know what little indulgence brings you joy!

My guilty pleasures? Give me a sunny day at the beach or time by the ocean—instant joy for my soul. I love getting out on a boat whenever I can; there’s just something about being on the water that makes me feel free and recharged. Watching Ted Lasso with my husband and binge-watching Stranger Things with my daughter are go-to comforts. Frozen yogurt with almonds and turtles is my favorite treat. I’m also a big fan of self-help audiobooks for a bit of inspiration on the go, and the tv series Queer Eye always makes me happy—there’s something about watching those transformations that lifts my spirits every time. All these little indulgences bring me happiness and help me recharge for whatever comes next.
